Gemini

Another in my series of pictures representing the signs of the zodiac in my style. Gemini, the twins, is represented in dotwork style in the form of two magpies surrounded by alchemical and astrological symbols and the Cancer constellation.

Magpies perfectly represent the duality of the Gemini, and not just visually. They are vicious, blood-thirsty creatures, but they also mate for life and are deeply committed to raising their young. This sense deep loyalty and bottomless love feeds their hard, cold side but if you break the rules of love and loyalty, they can not and will not forgive it.
